Community Project

About the project

Are you a young person aged 14-21 with a passion for music, creativity, or event planning? This is your chance to be part of something extraordinary! This year, volunteers from the village will be organising a small summer music festival to support local artists & talent, and we’re inviting YOU to help shape the event from the ground up.

This isn’t just any festival – it’s a community-led project designed to support local artists while empowering young people to learn, grow, and make an impact. Whether you dream of being on stage, behind the scenes, or promoting the event to the world, there’s a place for you here.

Workshops

We’re offering hands-on workshops and opportunities to develop skills in:

  • Songwriting: Express yourself and create original music.

  • Music Production: Learn the art of recording, editing, and producing tracks.

  • Performance: Build confidence and stage presence to shine in front of an audience.

  • Social Media Marketing: Master the tools to promote events and connect with audiences.

  • Small Business Skills: Understand budgeting, fundraising, and managing resources.

  • Events Management: Plan and organize an unforgettable festival experience.

And that’s not all! This is your project, so we want to hear your ideas. What do you want to learn? What do you want this festival to look like? Let’s make it happen together.

Why join?

  • Real-world experience: Gain practical skills that you can use in future jobs, education, or your personal projects.

  • Build your network: Connect with local artists, industry professionals, and other young creatives.

  • Make a difference: Help support local talent and bring the community together.

  • Have fun: Be part of a collaborative and exciting project that celebrates music, creativity, and teamwork.

The Team

The early stage of this project will be headed up by a few ocal residence who are looking to make a difference.

Helen Sanderson & Kirsty Ashburner founded the Rhosneigr Gin Company in 2024, to celebrate the beauty of the village. Every bottle sold or glass enjoyed in the local bars and restaurants contributes back to the village. This is their next community project and they’re excited to watch it grow.

Shell & Alex, founded The Inscape Studios, London in 2019 with the view of bringing affordable music production and songwriting to independent artists, something that they lacked when coming up through their own musical journey. With this expertise they are now bringing their little studio to North Wales with the hope of perpetuation this ethos with the local community. Starting with this very project!
